Frosty Kickoff

6:00pm – 10:00pm

AGE: All ages | $10.00 | Financial Assistance

Glide on over to the MetroParks Ice Rink as we celebrate the coolest way to start the holiday season – with the Frosty Kickoff! Consider this your official kickoff to the season, laces tied, cocoa in hand, good vibes only. Weather Dependent.

Skaters can warm up in one of several heated areas, including a comfort tent with games and seating. The RiverScape Cafe will be open, offering food and drinks for purchase, including hot cocoa. For those 21 and older, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase as part of the Downtown Dayton DORA.

Admission is $7 and skate rental is $3. A limited number of skate helpers are available for free. Visitors receive a 75% discount, $1.75 for admission and 75 cents for skate rental, by presenting a SNAP/EBT or Access to Nature card at the Rental Office. The discount is made possible by Five Rivers MetroParks’ Access to Nature financial assistance program, supported by the Five Rivers MetroParks Foundation.

Garage and lot parking is available next door in the Water Street District, with rates varying by location. Metered street parking is also available throughout the neighborhood and is free on nights and weekends.
