About this event
This four-hour class will introduce participants to the basics of blacksmithing including fire management, tools, shaping, finishing, and safety. Since the Carriage Hill blacksmith shop is a farm shop using only 1880âs technology emphasis will be placed on making basic practical hand forged items. Participants will get hands on experience and make items they can take home with them.
