About this event

Outing to Great Council State Park and Lunch is Friday, November 13.

Meet at 9am at CSLGD, 4100 Benfield, Kettering if you wish to carpool or meet at Great Council State Park, 1587 US-68, north of Xenia, by 10am. There will be a tour of the facility.

This will be followed by lunch at Butterbee’s American Grille in Xenia around noon.

After lunch, many will wish to go to “Crosshatch Farm and Fen” in Fairborn/Byron where Trebein Rd and Dayton Yellow Springs Rd. intersect. This is a chicken breeding station where many farm items are sold. It has been said that many chickens have crossed the road in order to reach the breeding station.
